I’ve found that including my toddler in everyday tasks works better than trying to keep him occupied separately.
Most of what needs to be done during the day can be shared in some way. It just takes a small adjustment.
In the kitchen, he’s usually nearby. Passing things, holding something, or just watching.

With cleaning, it might be wiping a surface, carrying a cloth, or helping with small parts of the process. It’s not always done properly, but that’s not the focus.

Laundry is similar. Taking clothes out, putting them into a basket, handing things over. Small roles, but still part of what’s happening.

Even in care routines, there are ways to include him. Brushing teeth, washing hands, getting dressed. Allowing him to do parts of it himself, even if it takes longer.
What seems to matter is being involved, not how well it’s done.
